calgon, take me away

During the winter many people travel somewhere warm to escape the cold, but oddly we seem to spend winter taking trips to MORE winter. I've been itching to hole up in a cozy cabin while there's 6 feet of snow since the day winter started and Dunton Springs Colorado looks like juuuuuust about the perfect place, could I afford it. How much would you love to stay in one of these cabins? Winter hike in the day and sniggle up by a fire at night? Yes please!

That place looks amazing - the perfect place get cozy and take a long winter nap.

Oh, and I totally love the title of the post. It's perfect, but it also makes me laugh because I once said it to my college age students and they had NO idea what I was talking about and I felt like such a nerd for making the apparently dated reference. :)

So beautiful!

When it comes to traveling my boyfriend and I are both definitely on a budget, we've found traveling during the off season (winter!) can seriously reduce costs, and its so gorgeous!

Gorgeous! This is why Andy and I like to head north in the winter. Fewer tourists and beautiful snowy views. Ahhhh....

I just recently returned from a trip to New England, where Winter is in full force and couldn't have travelled anywhere better. It was a Winter Wonderland, indeed!
