new favorite finds : an outfit post

A thrifted outfit (save for the boots) that is comprised of some of my new favorite finds. And I told myself that I was keeping my long hair because "it's warmer in the winter" and so I have resolved to actually wear it down. Lo and behold, it is warmer! This was also my first full week of being in the new shop without some event to work toward or some trip to prepare for and I think I am finally getting my sea legs, so to speak. I feel a bit like a spoiled brat admitting that the transition from working from home was a little rough, but we all live in our own little realities, don't we? This week I really like it here and finally started to look forward to being here as opposed to at my house working. It's also finally nice to have a reason to get dressed!

cotton thermal top ◊ thrifted
tapestry skirt ◊ thrifted
navy cardigan ◊ thrifted
ivory necklace ◊ thrifted
leather boots ◊ Frye

Your hair looks so pretty! My hair is basically pin straight, but I've been meaning to try rag curling it to see if I can end up with a similar wavy look.

Anyway, glad to hear you're settling into your new shop! The pictures you've posted of the space are stunning, so I'm sure that helps. ;)

Lauren, your hair looks beautiful! How did you curl it?

Irene, while it was dry I twisted strands and pincurled them using bobby pins. Voila!

Just damn gorgeous. And I can't believe how long your hair is! You've been hiding it from me, always up in a smart little bun! Now I know the truth :)

I'm so happy to see you doing outfit posts! You look darling. The skirt is amazing and the boots are a dream.

Yes, I set out walking to the post office the other day and didn't grab a hat. My ears quickly got cold (a sensation I can't STAND), so I took my hair down and was surprised at how quickly I warmed up!
