shop crush : duo • nyc

So now that I have a brick & mortar shop of my own I totally find myself looking at other shops in a whole new way. Today I found a shop I really love that also comes with a shop owner I am super keen on. The 9th street in the East Village is basically my shopping dream come true, shop after shop of interesting curated selections, my favorite being Duo. A small space pleasingly sprinkled with all things I like - minimal metal jewelry, silky tops, men's flannels, handmade tiny vials of perfume oil, those glass things up there (I bought a hanging one) and these boots from Ariana Bohling. The boots were hands down one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever put on my feet. The shop is co-owned by sisters Wendy & LaRae, I met Wendy and I think she might be my long lost best friend, I mean, I walked in the shop and she was listening to Echo & The Bunnymen...anyway, when you are in NYC, do check out Duo.
