when a bust is a boon...again!

Friday morning I woke up excited to go to an antique market with some good clothing vendors. I made my way to the convention center where the market was being held only to find out that I had my dates mixed up (typical!) and the market actually started the next morning. Undaunted, I hopped in the car and traveled up the highway a bit to an antique mall that usually does not yield much by way of vintage clothing. Well, this trip proved to be an exception as I ended up finding SO much amazing stuff for the shop, I was nearly buzzing with excitement as I was cashing out. Above are just some of the dresses I bought, the other ones went straight to the dry cleaner. I also got 6 hats, an umbrella stand, 2 pair of shoes, a necklace and the desk chair I have been waiting so long for, it's perfect!

And to follow up, I went to the antique market not expecting THAT much and seriously felt like I stumbled upon a treasure trove of vintage dresses. I ended up going back today and scooping up even more. Gluttonous, I know!

The desk chair is fab and looks comfy too. Sometimes low expectations lead us to surprising results.

The blue dress and the pink dress are so gorgeous! don't you just love stumbling on unexpected vintage dress galores at flea markets? I always get so excited and end up spending way more than I planned! :)

Lauren, same thing happened to me last week, except I found nothing! Drove all day and came back with very little. Lucky girl you are. LOL, I use the same cleaning spray in my house too...Mrs. Meyers Basil is my favorite.
