i do, over

Oh yes, I know that nearly every gal with a blog will do a post about Anthropologie's wedding line, BHLDN, but the fact is, I couldn't resist doing it too. It would be dishonest of me to say I wasn't enraptured by the pieces. I want to not like them; probably because I am really not keen on the name BHLDN (beholden...if you didn't notice), and maybe because I know the prices are hefty and oh yes, also because I am already married! But here are my favorites from the collection...what are yours?

i really fell hard for the shoes...I would never spend that kind of money on anything though...even for my wedding. My whole wedding was $1200 including my dress.

When I saw these on V-day...I was explaining to Mario we needed to re-do everything. He didn't understand. But luckily you do!

Though I would still prefer a vintage dress, I have to admit those are quite beautiful especially the top 2 you posted. The hats/fascinators are nice as well (though there's no way I would not do vintage for that).

These are definitely pretty amazing, but I'm going with a Saja Dress. Simple and classic. Bombshell: $1200, that's amazing! We are definitely not able to pull that off here in Vancouver. I wish we could!

some serious prettiness here. I can't help but feel that a bride might find equal amazingness via custom dresses via Etsy sellers like English Department or even vintage for lower prices, but these are incredibly inspiring images all the same!

My co-worker and I just proposed to each other we're that in love with the gowns and shoes. It's our only chance of wearing them soon lol.

Love the head pieces and that second dress! I agree totally with you about their pricing. My friend actually bought a scarf there, and when she said she paid $19 dollars for it my month fell open. It shocked me how cheap it was..... I assume it was marked 70% off though ;)

My sister JUST got engaged a week ago, and I'm a tiny bit jealous she gets to pick from this collection. But what's really, really dangerous are the SHOES! I don't need to be a bride to but those AMAZING yellow pumps. Eek!

Not bad, but I'd go for vintage any day.

I keep sneaking back to the site in odd moments of free time to drool over everything! As much as I don't need a wedding dress (happily married! ;), I can't stop looking and being inspired. Just wish everything wasn't so darn expensive... several of those fascinators/headbands are calling my name. ;)

I have to say I'm a little disappointed, maybe it was all the hype. I love Anthro, but I feel like they've gone a bit astray with all the do-dads they put on things. The rest just look like vintage replicas. I guess I'm just partial to the real thing. :)

Wow!!! I'm just hearing about this and I must say, this collection is absolutely breath taking. The shoes, dresses, hair pieces...everything.
Once again, Anthro does it again..!

..and thanks for posting this..we don't have Anthro in Paris, so who knows how long it would've taken for me to get this news! :)
