one day in ohio

A day of antiquing in Ohio served up some super great vintage, not that I thought it wouldn't, but even when you expect that you'll find great things while antiquing you never *really* know what those things will be so the excitement over the items you find is always fresh. And so...I just thought I'd share with you the things that I scooped up for the shop late last week. Wait, I lied, the last photo, the shoes and the suitcase have an acute case of the "minezies". Sorry.

Ladies, don't be so silly as to assume you need an *occasion* for such an exquisite, once in a lifetime dress! I insist you buy it for yourself, wear it on an unlikely occasion, take the most amazing and memorable self portraits standing in a tree, and pass the dress on to someone you love dearly.

What a lovely day, Lauren! Thank you again for sharing your treasures.

I love the shoes and suitcase!! I always look at vintage luggage but due to a life of knitting and sewing I no longer have shoulders that will carry cases and I have to have wheels!! What an old crock I sound but at least they have stopped me knitting or sewing!!
