sequins by day: part 2, the pale

I know these blouses, tops, whatever, are everywhere, but I never saw them until a few months ago. I mean, I saw them but I wasn't SEEING them. I love when that happens, when vintage becomes "new" to me. So now I am really into them and not just for dressing up. And like with everything else I like, I like them pale the best. There is a really pretty celedon one at this antique store near me that I have passed up too many times and will not pass up upon my next trip, I think I'll start a little collection of these. They are nice in winter and spring and can be dressed up or down. Loving the type of versatility again...

pale petal sequin top - The Getup Vintage (in Ann Arbor)
slub cotton cardigan - thrifted
jeans - Top Shop
necklaces - both thrifted
shoes - Me Too

This is a neat shirt, very similiar to the fringe dresses. Looks lovely on you.

Wait a minute -- you got that top at the Get Up? I love your Etsy store; this is so serendipitous! I go to the Get Up every week and even blogged about it: http://fashionforwriters.com/2009/11/06/196-ffw-loves-the-getup-vintage-ann-arbor/

Amazing!

Ha! I was just recently thinking the same thing about these tops. I'd always passed them over but now I'm dying to own (at least) one. It's on my list for my vintage trip to NYC next week.
