Parting is such sweet sorrow

The real test has begun...sifting through dresses and deciding what to keep, what I will allow myself to keep that is. These are some of my favorites from the fancier dresses I recently acquired. Obvious the one I am wearing is a keeper! But the other two black ones have a fate yet to be determined. Sometimes when I think about keeping dresses I don't think about where or when I am going to wear them, but rather I think about what amazing pieces of history they will be when I am very old. These are all late 1930s-early 1940s, so when I am old, they will actually be museum pieces...weird.
