An internet-free night

Last night I felt compelled to shut the computer down and have an internet-free night, not easy when your business is online! But after dinner I just wanted to do something very home-y and cozy. So we made a fire, made vegan cupcakes and laid on the couch reading and listening to Duke Ellington. I am thinking I need to make at least one night a week an internet-free night!

Hehe - I knew your internet free night wouldn't remain off the internet for long! So glad you shared it with us - maybe sometime you could share the cupcake recipe too??? :)

such a great idea! Jonny and I need to do that. last night while you were cozy and internet free we had our faces inches from the computer screen for hours! We were looking for a new camera, cause I broke mine. We did find one though, so tonight we'll do the internet free thing for sure :O)

I love the photos you posted! It's so easy to drown in the interent world day after day. We all have to remember to take time off with the people we love and enjoy the simple things technology has perhaps diminished in one way or another. Thank you for sharing the events of your internet-free night!

Wonderful idea doll!
Maybe we can settle on a night for this and then post the next day (of course!) what we did...the music we listened to, did we play a board game, what did we read, cocoktails anyone??
What fun!

Just wonderful. So glad you had the wherewithal to just close that laptop and have what sounds like the *perfect* fall evening. I also just wrote about the simple joys of autumn nights and was tickled pink to see your wonderful post. *Happy sigh.* Have any of those cupcakes left? ;)

That is such a good idea - I have such a love/hate relationship with the internet. Actually, with computers in general! Life was a little simpler before them I think. Your cupcakes look divine. Perfect night in x
