Some people's mecca
Some people's mecca is a giant antique shop that is a veritable mess, where things don't have prices, where treasures are stuffed into every crevice, where glorious dresses live on the floor, where beloved mink hats are piled to the ceiling, where owners are utterly unhinged and hail from across the pond. This is my mecca and I visited it yesterday in Barryville, New York at the Barryville Emporium. I left with a trove of treasures and a heart warmer than when I arrived.

Lucky, lucky Lauren, this is definitely my mecca!!
can i please live there? do you think they would put up a bed right next to that dresser with the owl statues?
sounds good to me :)
Heaven! I would be there for hours and hours and prbably go back the next day.
Wait... if there aren't prices, how do you know how much an item costs??

That is utterly impressive. I LOVE places like that. Crazy places where things are piled so high on top of each other that you really do have to dig for treasure. Those are the best! :)
amazing!!! i didn't know this existed!!!
awww... such a sweet post. Looks like heaven... a person could get lost for hours wading through all of the goodies.
