Cornbread stuffed.

We have arrived in Asheville and dinner tonight was at a place I just love called Tupelo Honey. I love how in the south they serve food you just cannot get up north, for instance, grits. You just don't see those so much up north, or fried okra. And since my mother and grandparents are from Kentucky, I grew up eating a lot of okra, cornbread, black-eyed peas and the like. Tonight I made sure I had my fill of these things, for a long long time...ugh....

dress - thrifted and shortened
shoes - JCrew

and here's what's new in the shop!

I love the first and last items! I'm soooo excited that you're there already! I was just thinking of you today and wondering if you left today or tomorrow. Your dinner sounds so so good, and that dress is gorgeous :) Keep having fun!

Oh darling! It's rare that I hear a northerner love southern food! Unlike my yankee BF. You made a girl proud I tell ya.
