Rebekah at Little Byrd Vintage has tagged me & given me a difficult task! I am to chose a photo that best describes my design style...oy! No way way way I can pick one photo, no way! I am always falling for something, but I did dig into my House Lookbook file and pulled out some photos that are more than one photo, but all speak the same language. I chose images that I always like, no matter my mood, or what is tickling my fancy at the moment. I love gray, cream, white and wood, I love monochromatic color scheme, chalky looks, modern meets vintage, slightly Scandinavian, vaguely Shaker, but always always uncluttered and breathable. I get sidetracked often by tufted furniture, I'll admit, but these images are constant favorites, always inspring and make me want to give away half my stuff.

Oh! This will be super fun! I have the exact picture in mind but I might have to scan it. Thanks for thinking of me! xo
Ooh, I wish me-as-a-room would look like that. It would probably be much messier, and everything would clash.
Lovely choices!
I love these design scemes, they're so light and natural. Definitely relaxing
Wonderful choices! And a perfect way of describing what you love. You were quick! It took me daaaays. Thanks for playing along ;)

Loving that bedroom & those butterflies in the bookshelf!
'breathable' is a very good word. those are amazing photos and incredible places. i wish my space was as tranquil - same colors but just full of STUFF. :)
These are all lovely... They could well be my picks too.... I long for simplicity and have been craving white walls and spaces lately...

Beautiful photos. I love how each one is anchored by a great piece of furniture, the Wegner wish bone chairs, that awesome lamp, and that great bench. It also helps that there's a great use of simplicity and minimalism, like Maria said.
