Inspired by the absence of color

While on my way back from finding some very wonderful 40s-50 vintage, I stumbled upon a sign for an estate sale that I wasn't even sure was for this weekend, sometimes signs are left up and you end on a wild goose chase for a sale long past. This one was down a very shoddy dirt road not that far from my house, so I decided to take the chance. And it was more worth it that I can even describe. I met a woman who inspired me in almost every way, and she had a room of all neutral clothing, all vintage and all just exactly what I have been wanting. It was uncanny, and I am so enamored with her house and her that I am going back tomorrow. I also wanted the house, but unfortunately, it wasn't for sale!

These photos are only a portion of what I came away with from her house. I will probably post the individual items soon, they are all outside airing out now as many of them smelled vaguely barn-like, which is a simultaneously bad and good smell...I think. If you click on the image itself up there you will be able to see all the blouses MUCH better!
