I recently happened upon the artwork of Paula Mattson and was instantly taken with it, I envisioned owning multiple pieces and passing them on to future generations. How great are these? Mattson, a Chicago-based artist describes her pieces as being "characterized by fragments of reality combined with design elements and forms in compositions where the positive image is surrounded by areas of negative space, each of equal importance".
