While I finally had the photo books out and the scanner in working order, I thought I'd share some more photos of my mother before I was born (and one after just for fun). My absolute favorite photo of her ever is the 'out west & sleepy' one. I made a little photo album of photos of her years ago and put captions on them after asking her to date them for me. I am real happy I did that, I feel like I should maybe do it again with some of the other photos that I have. At any rate, I have always been jealous of her strawberry blonde hair, ice blue eyes and pale skin, she happened to mate with my father who was anything but light complected so I turned out a bit ruddy. The other day she told me she was very happy about that, which was sweet to hear.
