The Red Shoe

There's just something about a red shoe, isn't there? Something fun, something sexy, something that just demands a glance. Not only that, but it's hard to be in a foul mood when one can look down at one's feet and see a shock of red.

Above is a sneak peek of the red shoes that are all set to hit the shop - looks for them soon!

Shop DEAR GOLDEN Florals!

Of late I just want to dress in florals all the live-long day...this week more floral prints will be added to the DEAR GOLDEN shop, but the shop is already well-stocked with all these beauties right now!

Lo & behold...an outfit post!

Yes, it's been about 100 years, but here I am doing an outfit post; basically born from my deep love of this teal silk skirt I recently thrifted & perhaps the fact that today is the best, sunniest, most summery day yet. I woke up and it was warmer outside the house than inside & that my friends, is cause for celebration. Therefore, right after I photograph some pretty dresses, I'm gonna camp out somewhere and drink a few mojitos.

cropped jean jacket - thrifted
floral tank top - thrifted
teal silk skirt - thrifted
t-strap platforms - Madewell

Spring, the Sweet Spring

Spring, the sweet spring, is the year’s pleasant king,
Then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,
Cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing:
    Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!

The palm and may make country houses gay,
Lambs frisk and play, the shepherds pipe all day,
And we hear aye birds tune this merry lay:
    Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!

The fields breathe sweet, the daisies kiss our feet,
Young lovers meet, old wives a-sunning sit,
In every street these tunes our ears do greet:
    Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to witta-woo!
