Max Raabe & The Palast Orchester

Oh what will I wear!? Surely a 1920s dress will be in order to go see this Weimar era 12-piece orchestra performing a mix of cabaret, ragtime, chanson, and early jazz, all done in the high style of the 1920s and 30s. As I gather, the audience usually "dresses the part" to go see Max Raabe & The Palast Orchester, which really sealed the deal for me. I've yet to see cabaret style singing in person and now I'm going to be able to see one while wearing some fabulous 1920s garb! If live nearby you might want to check it out.

The University of Michigan Musical Society is giving away tickets to the show as a special offer for their Facebook fans. Share or Like THIS POST on Facebook to enter to win.

Oh I love Max Raabe! Especially his B. Spears "Oups I did it again" with her video and his song... Magnifique!
