If you follow me on Twitter you've undoubtedly read many tweets about cocktails and I realize that I run the risk of sounding like an alcoholic to the internet world, but rest assured I am not. I am actually rarely drunk, I just like drinks a lot. I am somewhat of a beverage fiend all around (non-alcoholic drinks included), but there is a special place in my heart for the three cocktails above, particularly in the summer months. I thought since I am always prattling on about them I should share the recipes! Bottoms up!

I'm looking forward to the day when I can try a Whiskey Smash. Oh yes indeed.
I think I will try making a whiskey smash one of these days...though I wonder if there is some way I can get out of making the simple syrup.

My mom has made an Apricot Brandy Smash every summer since I was little - they are divine. I will have to get the recipe and pass it along. :)
