Come in - again!

This time my house was featured in Country Home Ideas (an Australian magazine). There is also a brief interview - check it out!  The photos were from a previous blog post and the house has changed some since...um, last month, so below I have included some photos of the current look, some random shots around the house, along with some 'sneak peek' photos from the shop. I have to say, I am much more comfortable showing off photos of my house than I am showing myself in outfits. I wish I could change the house's clothes weekly and do "house outfits posts", ha!

I love their magazine & we have that same eames chair in our family room, it matches our leather couch and looks hip with our floor rug! I love mine & I know you will love yours too. Love your home style

salute your tidiness and lovely arrangements of found objects! it all just works so well together and I so like that everything is so different rather than all put together because it 'goes'...but it does go...ya know? anyway I love it.

Beautiful! I love the lacy curtain-shadow pic. Also love that object hanging over your fireplace that mimics the shape of a taxidermy deer!

Hooray, you got your chair! I'm so jealous. I just love all the splashes of color, that magazine rack on the floor, and the wasp's nest. Oh, is your mantel clock a Seth Thomas. I collect clocks so I'm drawn to them in photos!

Very pretty. I love all of the handmade items and accents. I can't stop staring at the egg form in the last photo, though. If you have the answers, do you know what it is made of and who made it? If you don't that is totally cool, too. I have a lot of thrifted things I love and have no idea regarding the materials or origins so I understand.

DK -
to answer your question, the egg is a little ceramic piece my friend brought me back from iceland. it is done by a ceramic artist named Kogga, you can see more here: http://www.kogga.is/kogga.htm :)
