1940s maxi dress

'Nother maxi dress. This time 1940s, well, maybe late 1930s...though fitted through the waist it still looks best with a belt. Yes, it's pretty glamorous to spend the day at home in such a dress as this, I know. But when the mailman comes, one likes to be presentable.

Do you, like me, ever wish that you were born in another era? There's something so glamourous about the 30's and 40's!

Ha! Who cares...I get dolled up all the time just to go thrifting...Someone has to take turns wearing all your vintage dresses at least once. ;)
