before & after

A gorgeous dress, to be sure, but after photographing it I felt the sleeves were a bit too much.
I am not sure how many brides want to wear such a style. And so...

I removed the sleeves, and I have to say I feel like it makes it much prettier and wearable.
1960s Emma Domb lace applique bodice wedding dress, available here now.

Oh wow, what a huge difference. It was really pretty before, but removing the sleeves and leaving that pretty lace at the top instead took it straight to gorgeous.

Amazing! It's like a wonderful transformation :)
I did that once with a 50s dress. It's amazing what happens when ugly sleeves are removed!
Gorgeous dress, btw.

Definitely a good idea to remove the sleeves, transforms it into a much more wearable piece.
