•♡• unspeakably pretty
I spent some time this past Sunday, along with my mother, repairing and restoring some utterly breathtaking 1920s silk dresses. One of my favorite things to do is restore delicate 1920s dresses, the only problem is once they are finished I have a pretty hard time selling them. I expect I'll keep one of these...just not sure which one yet...

I just gasped; the dresses are so lovely. I wish my life looked like this. ;)
Wow, I love the details...the best part of any dress. Those are so pretty! I love the pink one. You should keep it. :)
wow, you are so lucky to find such fabulous dresses! i love the white one with the flower on the waist!
Oh my goodness!! These really are unspeakably gorgeous. You have inspired me to get to my own "to mend" pile.
gorgeous! love the pinks. I can only imagine how hard it must be to part with them!
soooo pretty! I love em all. Great eye candies :)
oooooh, ahhhhh, wowooow!
wow! all so gorgeous!
what great finds :)
My eyes are watering. They are ethereal!
Gorgeous! I may just have to take one of those pictures and make it my laptop wallpaper. If you don't keep the one with the big, lovely flower -- let me know! ;)
ahhh, ohhh. holy cow.
no words.
These are Absolutely Beautiful! Lovely photos :)
the 1920's thanks you deeply...
Beauuutiful! The second one is my favorite! Pretty cascades of ruffles AND a rhinestone pin?!!! Wow.
Absolutely amazing. I have been following your blog for a while now, and EVERY time I gasp. This time even more, if that is possible.
Too pretty for their own good! I just recently found a gorgeous 20s coral silk & lace dress, and I'm TERRIFIED to even have it cleaned. Am I being paranoid? It's so delicate, makes me completely nervous!
Oh wow these ARE gorgeous. I wish they were all mine and I'd hoard them away for special occasion where I'd dress up in my studio in a 20s fantasty. Just beautiful, its a great image too.
oh my goodness... swoon! how the heck do you pick just one?!?!
wow, these are just gorgeous! the colors, fabrics, details...*swoon*
holy CRAP i'd keep them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so pretty. but what a cool thing, to restore dresses. that's just something people in these times don't get. you restore the old, don't trash them. there's something to be gained from keeping the old things alive. you definitely need to keep at least one :)
Oh wow you lucky thing! Amazingly gorgeous - they look edible! Do you leave them out for days at a time just to gawk at them?
I do that when I get a bunch of new amazing stock, leave them out just to fondle them for a couple of days...better than wall art :)

I'm absolutely dying over the peach + lace one in the middle. Lovely!
These are GORGOUS!! Right up my aisle, I'm afraid though to know the price, knowing me, I always love things that are way out of my budget...LOL
