grocery getting

Please excuse my hair. I had spent the day taking loads and loads of photos for the shop and my hair sort of got out of control. But this post is not about my hair it's about the skirt. The glorious 1950s circle skirt with the fantastic floral print. I love huge floral prints and I can't do better than one that includes my favorite color - gray! I changed out of the yoga pants I usually work in for a trip to the grocery store for mojito ingredients. Can't wear yoga pants to the store, won't. We must not fool ourselves, yoga pants are modern day sweatpants, really, and thereby are best for home or for doing yoga. Ok, so maybe on a cold, cold night when you are headed out to pick up some Thai food they are fine, but on a sunny pretty afternoon I think a pretty skirt is more fitting. I love that this one has a belt!

Great outfit! Very fun and comfortable. I pretty much wear belts whenever I can. It gives my torso a "line break." Hope you're having a great weekend! Don't work too hard :)

Gorgeous skirt! The length is so pretty and feminine. And I am in total agreement about the yoga pant thing!

You are always lovely no matter what you model/wear, and you have "dream hair" as I like to call it...shiny, full of body and looks great no matter what! I love that you took the time to put on a skirt to go buy stuff for mojitos...they will taste that much better for it!

Fantastic skirt! I love grey and pink together.

And thank you for specifying that yoga pants are for yoga. I want to tell so many women that. I think it at least once a day. I think I'm a bit mean, but I can't help it...

Love that skirt, and mainly for its grayness! Fab.

But I dunno. I'll take the yoga pants over pajamas in the grocery store any day.

I love this skirt! I found a great, simple pattern from McCall's that recreates a 50s style circle skirt. I am definitely inspired to create a beautiful floral summer skirt when I can get my hands on my sewing machine!
Great find :)
