Duff sells lovely tiny things so she's lucky in that her workspace can still double as a guest room.

My friend Amy's art in-home art studio, light-filled and well-used!

My friend Madeline's sewing/crafting space. I love the fabric organization and that tall worktable.
And some photos of some other spaces I have been keeping in a folder, I am sorry I can't remember where they are from!

What a great post!
I have a bit of a fetish in this area - organization, storage, creative re-use, antiques. Fun to see others' ares.
omg. adelaide homesewns is A MA ZING!!

oh this is something I can't wait to do. I also love maria's room, so lovely, hard to find a balance between it looking great but also practical for storage etc, some good ideas above that's for sure!
A whole lot of beautiful inspiration here!
lovely post! great timing for me too, i just moved into a new apt and am working on making the "guest bedroom" function as my office/room stuffed with vintage.
The voyeur in me just LOVES peering into other peoples spaces. Is that creepy? I hope not. It's also aptly time for me, because next week BirdsChasingBugs is getting its own room in my house! I'm crossing my fingers that all of the new organization will really help me work more efficiently.

what a great post-- there is definitely a correlation between a great looking work space and great work-- these ladies have it all working for them! thanks for the nosy look! :)
oh this is fantastic! We are looking for a bigger home and I dream of having my own large workspace! I thought of taking a picture of my dining room and sending it to you..LOL! :-)
I am totally inspired to get my workspace in order.
Ooo how fantastic, I just love to see how other people live and work.
I'm hopping over here from Casey's blog. She was right - eye candy!
I sell vintage online, and my stuff tends to land on the treadmill near my computer. Not a very pretty sight! Plus, I'm making it very obvious to anyone who walks in the room that I'm clearly not in the habit of exercising on my treadmill... :)
