girl's night in

Last week I hosted a little girl's night in at my house, a relaxed affair where the most important directive was "bring your slippers!". While I supplied the libations, all the rest of the girls brought something to eat, and the deliciousness that showed up at my doorstep far surpassed my highest expectations. Expertly made ratatouille, blood oranges, fresh raw coconut, falafel & hummus, apple pie, salt caramels just to name a bit of it. I love me some women-time and try to have a girl's night once a month because I know some pretty fabulous women and for that I am very grateful.

Oh my goodness, be my friend and feed me! It looks like you had a wonderful night. Unfortunately most of my girl time consists of me and two goats. Other than that it's mostly stinky old boys.

I am hungry now! I love those little juice glasses. We don't drink a lot of wine, but when we do, it's out of little glasses like that.

This makes me wish I had a lot of friends that lived locally.
