maximal • minimal • 1940s • modern

Maximally minimal, 1940s-inspired but decidedly modern Fendi Fall 2010 Collection. Sure, it's likely old news whereas the fashion world is concerned, but whatever, I am just now seeing it and I like it tons. Love the colors, love the hair (!) and I love how it's sort of minimally minimalist, or maximally minimalist - what I am trying to say is that don't you notice how it's both minimal and maximal all at once? The only thing I am not liking are the weird baggy boots.

LOVE everything, wishing I could successfully wear skirt length in first picture, even kinda like the baggy boots but wondering if they baggy because of the stick legs inside 'em?

Wow- I so totally need look #1 in my life- maybe in reverse, since I have a long wool khaki skirt...and I adore the striated black dress, #4- looks like enormous corduroy or something! Thanks for the inspiration!
