I'm off to Maine, New Hampshire & Vermont for just about a week, I've never been and am hoping to amble down paths such as theses and stay in cozy bed & breakfasts along the way. I'd love to find vintage on this trip (of course!) anyone know of some great antique stops?
Also, if you have any recommendations for lodging or food in any of these states I would welcome the information as I have done very little in the way of planning the trip...eek!

If you pass through Vergennes, VT there is a massive, wonderful antique mall. In Burlington, VT there is a super awesome wonderful breakfast and lunch spot called Penny Cluse - it's my favorite restaurant in the whole world, no joke. As you are traveling - don't take the main highway, take the smaller, older roads - it will take a bit longer but you'll see gorgeous farms, foliage and LOTS of fun antiques places and cafes. Have a wonderful time!
Yay! Woodstock, VT is beautiful with tons of antiques and vintage, and the Prince & the Pauper is a really good restaurant there. Also, I agree that Penny Cluse is really good in Burlington. I'm not sure how south you'll go, but if you get to Keene, NH, visit The Stage on Main St. Great food made by my uncle. (: x
Oh! Such a fabulous time to drop by New England. There is a ton of antiquing to be had in Amherst/Hollis area of NH. On Sundays there is a giant outdoor Flea Market in Hollis, so if you're in the area, that can be pretty fun!
Which towns or parts of NH will you be near? I went to school near the NH/VT border in the Upper Valley (Hanover, NH) (Dartmouth!) and have lots of good thrifting haunts/antique shops to share if you happen to go by that way.
