felt flower brooches

I love felted wool and felted wool things, I also love brooches in the fall and winter so when I came across these handmade felted flower brooches from Faded Splendour I was pretty sure I'd have to have one. If you are like me and you like more muted colors rather than bright one you can also ask them to make you one that is a bit more subdued. I requested the colors in the one in the top photo (the first brooch) and they so sweetly sent along the second one which I put on the cranberry 1930s dress that will be showing up in the shop in the future. I love how they look vintage and how they perfectly enhance a 1930s/40s crepe dress. I am already dreaming up more color combinations...

These are SO wonderful (and very in line with your love of the late 30s/early 40s). I won a couple from Yesterday Girl's blog giveaway earlier this year, and I agree they add such a nice touch to an outfit!
