100% thrift

Indian summer! Cool mornings and very warm days. Today I set out early to shop for the shop and wore a dress I photographed a few days ago, I thought I would sell it, but as it were it's now mine! While making the thrift store rounds I came across an 'estate sale' sign, the likes of which I usually ignore because a) they are usually old signs and you'll be stuck on a fruitless search for a dead sale and b) I pretty much never go to sales unless I can be one of the first people in. Well, lesson learned! I came away with a bounty of glorious 1950s and 1960s coats for the shop, really great ones with fur collars AND cuffs (love the fur cuffs). Was it fun lugging them out of there in 86 degree heat? Heck yes, it was awesome!

love the length and shape of that dress, it's a keeper for sure. starting today, with the skirt I bought from you, I am also rocking the mid calf, my new fave length! nice.
