the palmer house

Last week I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon at the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Palmer House in Ann Arbor with my good friend Kate who owns the house along with her husband. They purchased it not to long ago and as a big fan of domestic architecture I pretty much could not wrap my brain around the fact that someone I knew owned a Frank Lloyd Wright house. The do not actually live in the house, they live in San Francisco, but they do rent the house out yearly for events and longer stays. So if you've ever wanted to enjoy some serious time in a FLW home, you can by reserving it here!

We had a really nice time sitting and talking outside on the back porch and then I could not resist shooting some of my own photos of the place.

This house is spectacular. My husband is a building contractor and loves this style. I can't wait to show it to him. LOVE all the wood.

That place looks incredible! I bookmarked it so that if I, by some miracle, had the vacation time and money I could visit! It looks like the perfect vacation place for me :)
