two sides of the coin

Because I sit on a pile of vintage dresses for a living, my outfits have taken a less inspired turn. While in the past years my outfits were quite pulled together, a mash-up of decades (done well, I promise!) and always thought out they now just rely on "the dress". I depend on "the dress" to carry me though "looking good" when I go out, and although that's not entirely bad, I sort of feel like I used to put more effort in. That being said, I did used to have more time to put that effort in, so I suppose I should just be happy that these great vintage dresses now take up my slack.

Tonight I am headed to see a friend do "Shakespeare in the Park" and I am armed with my camera, bug spray and a sweater  - and once again, letting "the dress" do the work.

But...that's what great dresses are all about! Perfect on their own, no extra work needed. Love the print on that one.
