princess bride

Late 1940s, early 1950s matte silk, lovely princess bodice, elegant ruched sleeves, built-in crinoline, lace trimmed collar all in the most delectable creamy ivory. I've had this dress for a few years now, unable to part with it. But yesterday I put it in the shop for some lucky bride, or heck non-bride.

Pity it's so small, it'd love to have this dress!!! I'm so jealous of the one who'll buy it.

How lovely! It would also make a wonderful costume for a movie or play . . .

O.o I think that this has to be my favourite out of all of the wedding dresses I have EVER seen.
*sobs* Why oh why don't they make dresses like this any more?
