Lately my go-to hairstyle has been a high & messy top knot. But I so inconsistently achieve that perfect balance between messy and not. The end of all that! Here is a nicely done picture tutorial of creating that oh-so-French girl like, je ne sais quoi messy bun.

I found this hair screws by Goody that you literally screw into your bun (hair bun. hehe!) so it stays in place. They're pretty nifty especially since I'm not skillful with keeping buns on.
I've been thinking about trading in my braids for a top-knot, as of late. As you can see, I have very crucial priorities in life right now. Ha!
when i when to New York a week ago, allllll the cute hipster girls in Williamsburg did their hair like this. its cutie cute thats for sure.
