Not sure why, but some people say "rabbit, rabbit" at the first of every month, does anyone know why? The weird thing is, I say it to myself despite the fact that I have no idea what it means. Happy March!

Ha! I've been wondering the same thing. My HS history teacher told us to say it, but I cannot recall why!!! I'll keep checking back to see if another reader knows. Love the hat and the shoes with the bow.
I think it's supposed to mean good luck for the rest of the month. I'm not positive, but that's what I remember.
Oh my! That dress is gorgeous!
i know the answer to this question. on the eve of the first of any month, you say rabbit rabbit aloud before you go to sleep and make a wish. the next morning, the first words out of your mouth have to be rabbit rabbit to make the wish come true. my sister does this whenever she remembers, and learned it from a teacher in elementary school. the end.
but you can NOT talk after saying "bunny bunny." you can only talk AFTER you wake up and say "rabbit rabbit." if you talk at all, your wish won't come true. so timing is of the essence. otherwise, you have to wait an entire MONTH to try it again! i used to put stickie notes on my alarm clock!
I've always heard it was "white rabbit" and whoever you say it to, you get their luck for the rest of the month.
I never heard of that before, but what a sweet little routine. I fully intend to remember to use it when my babes are older to con them into bed:)
