painted dresses, part two...swoon!

I truly loved Lauren Maurer's initial dress paintings so much that I asked if she could paint some of my favorite dresses and she did! Albeit, it's impossible to pick favorites, I really want like 25 dresses painted, but I had to rein myself in. I love the simplicity of her paintings and once these arrive at my doorstep I am promptly having them framed. So lovely! Have something that you'd like rendered in delicate watercolor?

I wish I could paint like that. She captured the essence of those dresses so beautifully. And you have excellent taste regarding favorite dresses as well.

These are absolutely stunning. I love the simplicity of watercolor. It creates such a great soft texture. These dresses are absolutely stunning, you are such a lucky girl to have them in your closet!

They are so gorgeous! Makes one miss the days when fashion ads involved drawing and painting... they capture the "essence" of the dresses so perfectly! (-;

These are gorgeous. I am jealous, and inspired. Now to learn to draw/paint... or find a friend who does.
