I found a new photo spot yesterday that for close up photos provides the most lovely light. It wasn't all I found, I also found a woman who had a garage full of vintage she wanted to sell off. Her mother was a vintage shop owner and she had no use for the clothing, hats, bags and other accessories. I was wearing one of my favorite vintage dresses by Peck & Peck. I love the Peck & Peck tag for some reason, it's one of my favorites. Ironically, when I went to the woman's house to buy the vintage clothing there were many Peck & Peck pieces! I brought a friend along who I have not seen in a very long time and she was privy to the "behind the scenes" of the vintage world - going to people's home whom you do not know and sifting through racks and piles of dusty clothing. I think she thought it was rightly crazy.

It's amazing going through someone's life via their clothes...This is when they met, This is after they got married, This is when a loved one died. Life and death...someone's history. that dress looks wonderful and i love the shoes you've paired it with because it makes it look modern. i've always loved the peck and peck tag too. and i hate you for finding another treasure trove :) just kidding...
LOL. I could imagine the look on her face. My boyfriend thinks its so weird when I get excited about thrifting. He doesn't understand why I work so hard to find ONE piece that fits. They may never understand...
