it's business time

This past weekend I took much time away from working (I suppose I don't count antique shopping working), and while it took a little time to get "into" not working, I eventually did. And well, today it was pretty hard to start up the work machine again. It must be all about momentum. Working on the shop nearly all hours of the day become pretty normal feeling and once I stopped and took nearly three days to not work, that started to feel pretty normal as well. It was like pulling teeth to get me to work Monday. I'm still, over a year into starting the shop, trying to find balance. My long relaxing weekend has ended and now -  it's business time.

But I did get some new things in the shop, so have a gander.

Ayup. I don't have an iPhone or other PDA, which is the only thing that keeps me from being business- shop-obsessed when I'm away from the shop. And it doesn't help when one of your favorite pastimes (shopping/thrifting) is a necessity to your business!

I'd definitely want that little black high waist skirt if I didn't already have 15 or so in my closet. Cutest little all-season staple, that one!

I find it totally ironic that I had this song stuck in my head when I read this post:
