Yes, I know this movie came out a while ago and yes I know that it's been blogged about probably enough. But the fact is, it's effects have stuck with me, unlike the momentary inspiration from some films. This film really drove home my new affinity for golden wiggle dresses and leopard print, oh and dangling earrings. And I can't neglect to mention just how good of a film it is, aside from the vintage clothing aspect. And below...my homage to the girl in a prep school tie (available in the shop).

I love this photo of you in the tie. You fit in perfectly!
{pssst...what is the name of the movie?}
I really want to see this film! They played a trailer for it on TV last night and said it was in theatres, but it certainly is not here. It looks visually stunning, though.
I loved this movie - I thought it was gorgeous. So much so that I saw it with a friend and then took my Mum to it a week later. I love your take on the shirt and tie look - very cute! x
I really wanted to see this and still haven't! I will definitely have to now, if only for the fashion!
What is the name of the movie? It loks right up my alley!
Great film... and post for that matter!
I am DYING to see this film... DYING! and you are stoking the flames to an unbearable height. Our local art theater teased us with a trailer then somehow never got the film itself.... I will settle for a DVD, but I wanted to see it all BIG and LOVELY. (Time to upgrade to a bigger TV? Maybe even a TV from this century? Nah.) Sigh...................
The outfits were brilliant in this film. (So was the acting.) And you look cute in a tie!
