It's been rather artic-like here lately, and not enough snow to make it feel fun or cozy. It's times like these when I am thankful for one of my little obsessions - sweater dresses. What's better than a sweater that covers almost all of you? I particularly love the sort of trompe l'oeil vest effect on this one. I actually think this is the first one I ever acquired - soft wool with a very well done tight knit that makes dressing warm pretty dang fun if you ask me.
And now that it's totally cold (and actually snowing right now), our Christmas tree is up & Sufjan Steven's Christmas album is playing I can finally say that I am feeling the holiday spirit at full tilt, and really liking it.

Ooo what a lovely dress AND shoes! We're just coming into summer now (in New Zealand) but winter is equally miserable here, it never gets cold enough to snow but rains non-stop.
