The Garconnaire Bride

As a seller of vintage, you are always coming across dresses or pieces you deem "amazing", or are "to die for", but sometimes you surpass the usual amazing and move right ahead to "unreal". When I got my hands on this dress I felt I had something "unreal", but thankfully it is real! And nearly 100 years old. It's utterly mind-blowing that a dress this delicate, this ethereal and this antique can be in such wearable condition today. Not to mention it's totally fashion relevant, the 1920s style will never be out of fashion, it continues to captivate the minds of girls decade after decade. And so, I offer this dress, a dress that may or may not be a wedding dress, it can certainly be worn to a cocktail party or some other special event, but should be worn with the utmost reverence as it really is a piece of fashion history.

Ooh, if only I could touch it...sigh. Gorgeous. I suddenly feel the need to go buy a lace dress.

OMG...I would get married all over again for this dress...
Just imagine a whole wedding planned around it...it would look straight out of the Great Gatsby!

Um, yes, can I get married again?? (to the same boy, of course!) That dress is heartbreakingly beautiful. What an absolutely amazing piece of history. I really hope it finds a perfect home. Thank you so much for letting us have a peek!

Are you selling it? I feel like I'd never want to sell something I've fallen so attached to! Your job must be hard. :)
