Sometimes I build whole outfits around belts, I especially love brown belts, both skinny and fat. Every time I get one for the shop I end up keeping it, or twisting my own arm to put it in the shop. I mean, I love how without the belt, this outfit is "pretty good", but with the belt, it's "really something"! And I am only recently in my life, say in the past couple of years into wearing gray and brown, it's right up there in my favorite color combinations. I'm always wary of belts, and I don't know why! I suppose it's because I keep my outfits pretty simple, showcasing the clothes themselves. However, this little outfit is inspiring! The belt really brings it all together.
I love the little arrow shaped detail on your belt. I think one of my favourite colour combo's would have to be black and nude too. It reminds me of ballet wear. I love most earthy shades too, like mustard, olive green and of course tan brown. I've been a fan of your etsy store for a while now, but I never realised you had a blog- it's great!
Yes, you are definitely right. Your belt MAKES this outfit! I'm in search for a thin brown belt myself but it has to be the RIGHT colour of brown. I've yet to find it. I'm thinking a braided one would be nice and feminine on skirts and pants...*sigh* someday I will find it.

Oh, I too love belts, I have about ten or so put away for my shop, but I don't have a mannequin yet (ordered one yesterday), so it's just a matter of time! and you are right, this outfit is outstanding!
