The weather is always pretty horrible on my birthday, others with a birthday in February can sympathize. I always wanted a birthday in September or October when the weather is ideal. This birthday was no exception - freezing cold, but a little sun! So yesterday I let my jewelry be my "fancy" and the clothing be cozy and warm. It is befitting since I am thoroughly obsessed with Victorian lockets right these days.

when I was a little girl I used to be so jealous of the kids who had summer birthdays! (mine's in late cold November.)
THOSE TIGHTS ARE SO COOL, sorta looks like you're wearing high socks.
What a gorgeous locket and dress!

Super cute necklace giveaway!
I appreciate the fact that you look warm and adorable at the same time. Not an easy feat, and something that is important in Michigan right now with all the awful weather we're having. My birthday is in mid-march, so I know how you feel about crappy b-day weather. Most of the time my birthday is either snow-covered or mud-covered, and neither is fun.
Well I hope you had a happy birthday!

A very happy belated birthday to you Lauren :) You look gorgeous. And I now have some serious vintage locket envy ;)
That locket is the tops! And I'm so glad you still like that ring :)
Amazing locket, and I love the wrap sweater- so charming and cozy...Happy Birthday!!
I love that locket. I saw one on etsy a few days ago that I was sort of stalking but I didn't jump fast enough and it sold!
