These watercolors by Amber Alexander just make my face all squishy with cute. I love the whimsicalness and how in some of them (if you click the link) show little critters (or big ones) doing "people" things which adds this level of absurdity that only serves to make the paintings that much cuter. I might have to buy the Tree Swallow one for Mr. DG, he's a big Tree Swallow fan.

I just saw this one on the front page at etsy http://www.etsy.com/listing/62027308/black-bear-art-byron and knew right away that these were by the same artist. I love the sofa the bear is sitting on.
she is one of my FAVORITE artists on etsy! I got the squirrel and strawberry print for my best friend for Christmas and I want to squirrel in the apron print for myself. I think I'm going to save it for a house warming present after my move!
