This dress makes me feel a little bit teacher and a little bit student, but somehow it's still kinda sexy? Strange intersection for a garment to be sure. It's Jonathon Logan, and I just love most of Jonathon Logan dresses, except for the very early 1970s ones. The ones from the 1950s and 1960s are always of solid quality and classic styling, I feel like they are the JCrew dresses of their time. Not the most expensive ones out there, but certainly nice. This one in particular is 100% wool and I have a real soft spot for vintage wool dresses...and vintage wool in general. If I wear enough between my skin and the wool that is...

Ah yes, love the classic sexy teacher look! Although I just watched 'Blackboard Jungle' tonight and the sexy teacher didn't fare so well ...
I love how the piping on your shoes echoes the stripes in the plaid!
very sexy and subtle indeed! i love the tousled hair with the straight laced outfit.
I love jumpers! The fitted waistline and pockets are great!
I love your dress, it's so sophisticated! The plaid is really nice.

Wow, that brings back memories. I loved wearing jumpers in grade school. The one you are wearing is fabulous.
How cute are you? Quit it! Wait, no, don't.
Your jumper is so pretty--I have such a soft spot for plaid jumpers from the 50s! I really like the blouse you paired it with too. I have a similar style (though not a Jonathan Logan design, sadly... lol) jumper that I bought several years ago from one of my favorite vintage shops. I haven't worn it in awhile, but think I need to pull it out again! ;)
