This outfit is the third one I put on AND took photos of. You know, sometimes I think I look alright or even cute only to realize after I take some photos that it's a pretty crappy outfit. The two before this made me look like I was in an episode of Big Love, just really, oh, like a 5th wife or something. I finally settled on this getup which I actually liked albeit it's a little autumnal for December, at least in my opinion. But after changing my clothes three times, I was all done.

i LOVE that necklace!! and you're house is making me homesick for my house back in MI! we have the wood grates on the floor just like that, and the old wooden (and drafty!) windows, the trim is exactly the same! aw...i miss my little house :(
those warm colors really suit you. Those tights are particularly awesome! I have difficulty believing you could EVER compose a "crappy" outfit, but I totally relate to that experience of having an idea that certain things will go together in one's head and then finding that they don't look or feel quite "right" when ON. I've found photographing myself in an ensemble before going out cures any delusions of outfit grandeur I may have ;)
I have those days too - though sometimes I get out the door before I actually realize that I hate my outfit. This usually results in me taking my first free moment to head back home and start rummaging through the closet again :)
haha I have those days all of the time! It's funny how much more useful a photo is than a full length mirror. :)
Man I hate when that happens. It always happens to me when I'm trying to decide what to wear out, then I change ten times, hate my wardrobe and my face and then change my mind about wanting to go anywhere. women are mad. FACT
that is the prettiest little ring. <3
I love the purple plaid and the rust tights! And those platforms are truly to die for...
it makes me feel better that you sometimes do this too. it is weird how an outfit seems good in the mirror and then in the pictures you're like "what??"
i just love those tights! and i'm glad someone else wears sweater vests, because i love them.
Cute! I have become semi-obsessed with knit vests this year, but I only have one, which I have only worn once. I love those shoes! (Laughing at the Big Love reference. Chloe Sevigny is pretty cool!)
That is awesome! I totally know what you're talking about when you say you think you look cute and then discover you look like a fifth wife! :)
cuute! less the stockings!
awww very lovely!
The shirt and skirt are things I would easily wear. Very nice :)
