Feeling it down to my toes
The new Toast catalog has totally got me where it hurts. I love each and every page! The styling is so outstanding and although it's not revolutionary fashion there just seems to be something about it that is different to me. What's not different however is how the clothing is completely vintage-looking and the items are almost all basics that seem to have come from 1982, in the most brilliant collegiate way. When I was in high school and early college I remember dressing in this sort of brain-y, preppy way that I jokingly called my "Harvard 1982 look", not ironically I still like that style - thankfully it's classic and will not ever go out of style. It's nice that *something* (aside from some amazing music) that came from the 1980s can stand the test of time along with the other vintage things I love!

Those are really beautiful...I agree, that old ivy league/collegiate look has always appealed to me. It's so classic, I think it will always stay relevant in some way.
They look so cozy. And I am going to have to make myself a pair of the gloves!
ohhhhhh....it is so menswear inspired, and I love that! My favorite!
thanks for the sneak peek..mine hasn't come yet.
aaaah this is making me so excited for fall!
I'm smitten by this entry! The gray dress above is spot on when it comes to how I'd like to dress these days. The blog is looking great.
oh the shoes!!!
Yeah - I love that look too. These pictures are great and have me wanting to dig around my clothe and put outfits together.
