Gin, kittens, bubble baths and 1920s dresses are the mode o' the day when I am feeling cruddy. When I don't feel like hauling out the 1920s dresses I have stored away (for safe-keeping!), I go to my '1920s fashion' Pinterest board and fawn over all the beautiful dresses I have pinned. I think the idea is that it is supposed to cheer me up, but instead I just get sad that the dresses a) are not mine b) will never be c) cannot be seen by me in person and that they just don't make dresses like this anymore. So yeah, then I go to the board where I post kittens and I feel a little better. Then I have a gin cocktail and feel lots better. Then I have a gin cocktail in the bathtub & well, you can see where I am going with this...

ReplyDeleteWell. I have just clicked through to your Pinterest page. First I experienced awe and various amouns of gasping, then increasing degrees of sadness.....time for the gin I think! :-)
