A couple of things here - first of all, I felt weird wearing nothing vintage, so my I put on a vintage hat and a vintage coat which aren't pictured. Then realized, hey! my necklace is vintage. Nonetheless, do you ever feel like you look really great, then see a photo of yourself and realize you didn't look as great as you thought? Well, that was me yesterday. As I set out, I felt like I looked quite good, and now that I see myself in these photos, well, I change my tune. But yet, I wore this outfit and so it is blogged - there's no reason not to, we all make mistakes and don't look as good as we should, so whatever. This was me, and as I said, I swear, I looked better than this.
But you know what, it doesn't matter. I had lunch with a friend I never EVER see who lived in San Francisco, then I shopped all day and had a cocktail with another friend, Emily whom I see a lot but never tire of and then one more cocktail with my husband and a friend's father. So I had a pretty fantastic day whether I looked so or not!

What's your problem? You look awesome! The dress, be it from Target or the moon, fits you so well! Also, I believe that necklace is gifted, not thrifted ;)

ReplyDeleteI understand what you're talking about, but to me you look great here. And I love the Target dress! One of my favorite dresses came from Target, one that is also an eggplant purple-ish color.
