Aunt Evie's clothes

Yesterday, as I set out the sun was bright, I felt well rested and as I had the shop in very organized order. Little did I know that a normal Tuesday would turn out to be so amazing! I went to meet a woman who had her mother and aunt's vintage clothing to sell. Without seeing photos or much information at all, I drove just over an half an hour to check it out. And just under an hour later left with a car full of the very best vintage I have ever bought up. Every time I find an estate with a lot of vintage I feel like it's the very last time that will ever happen. Well I think I can say that judging from the lot of 1930s-1940s dresses, blouse and skirts I got today I likely will not come across such a bounty as this. I felt sort of stunned really, but also grateful and excited! I have Aunt Evie's clothes! I asked the woman selling the clothing if I could see photos of her mother and Evie and she brought me out photos...wonderful old photos from the 1930s. Though we were in a garage without heat and my toes were completely frozen I didn't care at all...I was surrounded by old dresses! And get this...my size!  That being said, I'll pick only my favorites and into the shop the rest will go!
